An even awesome-er tree! Our trip to NYC for the holidays was so much fun! The tree at Rock. Center is so HUGE!

While we were in NYC, we stopped to see Blue Man Group. The show was a lot of fun. We especially liked throwing the toilet paper!

Fall 2009...Sarah turns 30, 1 Year Anniversary!

I surprised Sarah with a weekend getaway in the 1000 Islands at Wellesley Island in a cozy cabin.

It was a beautiful fall weekend; the view was beautiful!

Halloween 2009 with our two favorite witches, Julia and Ava.

We also celebrated Sarah's 30th birthday this month, but I didn't get a picture :(
It was a cold afternoon surprise in the park behind our house in NY Mills. All of her friends and family were present to celebrate.

We were very busy in August! We went to the NY State Fair 3 times!

We also saw Kelly Clarkson and Gavin DeGraw there... Amazing!

We also got away for a couple of days and went to Darien Lake...

Sarah took me on a tour of her old Daemen College campus and

we had lunch with her friend Cathy, her husband and son.

Watkins Glen State Park

Some pictures from our day at Watkins Glen State Park. It was so beautiful! I would recommend the trip to anyone. It's a steep climb up and of course steep on the way down, so be prepared for a workout. The views, the amazing natural formations, I could go on and on. When you are looking for peace, to get away from it all, this place will do the trick! I think I speak for both Sarah and I when I say we came back so much more centered and ready to take on the next stage in our lives. Happy hiking everyone!

Myrtle Beach Trip

Sarah and I had the best vacation/honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, SC. I enjoyed being the tour guide as Sarah had never been. I think I did a great job since she actually loved the beach and didn't think she would! We shopped at Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing. We walked and collected shells on the beach. Our condo was gorgeous...I wanted to move in! We spent time with Mom and Lisa (a senior next year-oh my!) and Uncle Paul and Aunt Sue. We met Blake for the first time...Heather and Brian did a great job...he is so sweet! Overall it was a fun, relaxing, and amazing time away from home and work. We are happy to be back home with our "kids," Samme and Scrabble, who missed us very much.

We enjoyed the holidays... had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Now things are settling back down; have the house back to "normal" and getting back to the icky diet and a 5-day work week. I want to wish anyone who may be reading this a very happy and healthy 2009! Sarah and I have BIG plans for this new year but I don't want to jinx anything by putting it in writing. Really can't imagine life being any more perfect though...

Visit from Baby Boy Lewis Mama

My BFF came to visit from Sunny South Carolina. She is 6 months pregnant but traveled to NY anyway to come to my wedding reception. She has the big baby bump and her son is really kicking around. It meant a lot to see her, especially since I'm sure it was hard to leave the safety of home with her precious child along for the ride. She is going to be a GREAT mom!!! I can't wait to meet him next Spring...

10 Blissful Days In

The ceremony is over; the reception is over; our lives together have just begun! It is a relief that the planning is done, but all the work was so worth it. We had 2 perfect days, both on the 11th for our ceremony and the 18th for our reception. God was definitely present and provided his gift of a beautiful, Autumn day. The colors of the leaves, the reflections in the lake, my perfect, gorgeous bride... who could ask for more? We now have time to breathe, to soak it all in. I can't believe I'm married and yet I can't picture my life any differently than it is right now. It is so right!
